Davis Tool Avoids Downtime with Custom Compressed Air and Dryer Solution
When Davis Tool’s air compressor went down threatening the production of their anodizing facility, Rogers provided a complimentary rental while their custom compressed air and dryer system was built.
Company Background
Davis Tool is a leading contract manufacturing company based in Oregon. They manufacture and assemble a wide variety of mechanical parts including those that require a high technology mix.
Most CNC (computer numerical controls) need compressed air to run and are used to help force lubricant through the system, run air guns to dry parts, and to power pneumatic tools.
Problem
This facility had a competitor compressor that broke-down. With no air, downtime meant the anodizing facility would completely stop.
Solution
A long-time customer, we provided a free rental unit (pictured below) while their custom compressor was being built. To maintain production efficiencies, we provided a custom tank-mounted KIV compressor with a mounted Hankison dryer. In addition, we provided expert service for system solutions they couldn’t troubleshoot themselves.
