Pumps for Machinery Lubrication
This article and video show the right pumps to keep your machinery lubricated, as well as remove contaminants and water, to ensure the longest life possible for your machinery.
Machinery lubrication pumps are used in equipment ranging from small backup generators to massive naval ships. Lube oils used to lubricate rotating and reciprocating machinery may require higher pressures to ensure equipment their penetration.
Viking Pumps are used to scavenge (draw lubricant oil from a sump) and pump the oil through filters, heat exchangers, and/or dehydration systems in full-flow or kidney-loop processes. This pumping process removes contaminants, reduces temperature, and removes free water.
It then sprays the cleaned lube oil on key friction points within the machine. This ensures maximum lubrication reliability and a longer life for the lubricated equipment.
Rogers Machinery provides Viking Pump OEM lube pumps to many major manufacturers of refrigeration compressors, gas compressors, gas turbines, diesel engines and large gearboxes and transmissions. We also provide aftermarket pumps for many brands of equipment whose OEM pumps are unreliable or difficult to procure.
