Rogers Engineered Rotary Lobe Compression System (RCS.RL)

Rotary lobe blowers have wide operating speed ranges, which directly relate to flow and performance. Inherently simple and robust - rotary lobe technology is widely used in every industry that needs air or gas compressed up to 20 PSIG. Additional features include:

  • Simple construction and operation allow for use in different processes and industries. Can operate with inlets above or below atmospheric pressure.
  • Can be used for air and other process gases. Gas streams should be clean and free of liquids for the best long-term operation. Inlet and discharge filtration and silencing are highly recommended to insure long equipment life.
  • Rotary lobe blowers can be VFD controlled to maintain a constant header pressure or use simple blow-off style control using either weighted plate relief valves or return to inlet (RTI) arrangements if purging to the surroundings is not possible or advisable (i.e. flammable process gas).
  • Popular uses also include dilute or dense phase pressure conveying of powders or pellets.
