Rogers Machinery Company held a ground breaking ceremony on Thursday, January 4th for a new facility which will expand the company’s Centralia, Washington operations. Rogers has operated a branch in Centralia featuring sales, parts and service since 1972 and expanded the facility to include design and manufacture of rotating industrial equipment in 1991. Branch employees and family members attended along with Frank Wiering, Rogers Machinery Corporate Project Manager, and Mike Drennon, Kaufman Construction Project Manager.
The Rogers K Series lubricant injected rotary screw air compressors and vacuum pumps are designed, assembled and tested at the Centralia facility. Eric Forslund, Vice President of Centralia Operations and Branch Manager for Rogers Machinery, stated “Rogers’ staff are excited about the design, features and capabilities that this expansion will offer us to grow the K Series product lines and the solutions that we can offer to our customers”. The 51,000 Square foot building will include office, warehouse and assembly space, along with a conference center with training facilities. The building project is expected to be completed in late 2018.
